![]() ![]() REALLY? I could spend $2300 and actually get a real Cabana IN BORA BORA. ![]() When I expressed very nicely to the manager that we were on our honeymoon and just wanted to enjoy the pool, they suggested we spend $2300 on a "Bora Bora Cabana" - get this. WHAT? The beautiful pools were closed with the exception of one making it a scramble to find two side by side pool chairs. We called for room service and laughed after letting the phone ring for a solid 5 minutes only to have the attendant pick up the phone. Clearly, these people just wanted our money - nothing more. But what we actually experienced was sprawling smoke filled casinos, over priced rooms, thugs and prostitutes everywhere, over priced dining, NO DAILY MAID SERVICE, and a very cold and unsympathetic staff uneducated on the value of the customer experience. We could not wait to use the beautiful pools and dine in the "fantastic restaurants" that had been so creatively advertised. we realized we had made a huge huge mistake. ![]() We were so excited to stay in the giant guitar shaped hotel and looked forward to a much needed pampering resort experience after months of wedding prep! But from the moment we made our reservations (poorly educated telesales) until the time we checked out EARLY. We scheduled a 3 night Honeymoon stay at the Hard Rock Seminole in Hollywood, FL. ![]()
